Software systems. Human stories.

I’m Raviteja Panchagnula, a software engineer and independent builder. I work across backend systems, mobile products and practical tools. I also make Telugu devotional stories with my mother. The medium changes. The work is still about finding the right structure.

Java / Spring Boot Android Creative production

I make complicated things easier to use, maintain or understand.

In engineering, that means drawing clean boundaries, questioning unnecessary abstractions and shipping the smallest useful version.

In storytelling, it means finding the human centre of a large tradition and building every visual around it.

Both require research. Both improve through iteration. Neither gets better by adding more than it needs.

Work with a reason to exist.

Open a project for the useful detail.

Published Purseful Android app

An Android app published on Google Play. A complete product rather than a portfolio prototype: designed, built and shipped for real users.

Published Brainbles Kotlin · Java

A native Android brain-training app built around short puzzles. Its icons and illustrations were generated specifically for the product instead of assembled from stock packs.

In development PicLoka Android · R2 · Python

A wallpaper, image-sharing and editing app built for Indian audiences. Images live in Cloudflare R2. A versioned manifest and two-level category tree let new content ship without an app update. The editor comes first; another passive gallery would not be enough.

Hackathon CPGRAMS Resolution Companion Civic tech

A citizen-facing web app that asks a more useful question than “was the grievance closed?” It checks whether the official response actually resolved the problem, using a real EPFO PF-transfer case as its starting point.

Concept Precision Zoom Chrome extension

Custom per-site zoom control with a small surface area and a clear purpose. The browser remembers the view you chose for each site.

Client work AI voice agents Scripts · conversation flows

Scripts and conversation flows built around what callers actually say, including the interruptions, ambiguity and corrections missing from an idealized happy path.

Thirteen years is long enough to know that tools are not the work.

My core work is Java, Spring Boot and microservices, including Spring Boot 3 and Java 21 architecture. I’m comfortable following the problem into Android, Python tooling, browser extensions or cloud storage when that is where the useful solution lives.

The heart of the project

My mother narrates every video.

idigo vinandi is built from handwritten scripts, human narration and a deliberately developed visual language. We have made roughly 294 videos together.

The stories range from Puranic adaptations and Tirumala traditions to grama devatas such as Peddamma, Pochamma, Maisamma and Poleramma/Yellamma. Festival and civic moments provide the occasion; the work is to find the detail that makes each story worth retelling.

The thread

A Short about the toram used for Varalakshmi Vratam became the channel’s breakout piece.

The undercurrent

A kumkuma and turmeric story mapped the Tridevi onto three substances through an antarvahini metaphor.

The chariots

A cinematic miniature-ASMR series followed the three chariots of the Puri Jagannath Rath Yatra.

The production pipeline combines handwritten scripts, character sheets and location reference packs with Veo 3, Google Flow, Kling and Seedance. AI handles part of the image-making. The voice and editorial judgment remain human.

Watch idigo vinandi

A visual idea has to survive contact with the brief.

Insurance

A full brand audit and seven vertical-film concepts, developed with IRDAI compliance constraints in view.

Real estate

A six-style AI-image campaign and a vendor-neutral playbook designed to outlive any one generation tool.

Learning Go without writing Java in Go syntax.

  1. Port

A Spring service to net/http and pgx.

  2. Coordinate

A concurrent worker pool with context-based graceful shutdown.

  3. Connect

    A small gRPC client-and-server pair.

  4. Reduce

A rate limiter and in-memory key-value store down to their essential behaviour.

The point is not to collect another language. It is to learn its native habits.

Make one useful improvement. Then look again.

I work iteratively and visually. I trust direct feedback more than polite ambiguity. I would rather ship one real improvement today than spend three months defending a plan made before the work began.
